Metalmorfik entry doors are made from one piece laminated water resistant MDF.

This one-piece construction assures a stable door without joints that crack. The doors are covered with The Metalmorfik Veneer. This is a seamless metal veneer that covers the surface real metal.

The jambs are constructed from poplar and sealed front and back. A metal veneer is applied to the front and sides . Door jambs are supplied with flexible weather stripping. Thresholds are aluminum with adjustable sweep. Jambs are supplied with bungs to match finish.

Each door is made to order. Over size or unusual sizes can be accommodated.

The Metalmorfik Veneer is a seamless surface available in a variety of metals and surface treatments. Aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, zinc, tin, chrome and iron and combinations of these metals can be used. Textures and patinas can be employed to create subtle or very dramatic effects.

Each Metalmorfik Veneer will exhibit the same qualities as a solid metal. For example iron will rust. Bronze will turn brown or green. Aluminum will scratch more than stainless steel.

These metals offer a living surface that will show the patina of time.

Clear coats are available in various sheens to preserve the initial surface but tend to detract from the true metal appearance.

Metalmorfik entry doors are also available with wood frame and metal insert.

Interior of door can be painted or metal veneer.

Glass is insulated tempered. A variety of textures and designs are available.

Although the doors have a solid feel and substantial weight, standard hanging procedures are used to install, unlike a solid cast iron door that would require special framing and equipment to install.

The thermal quality if the door is also better than a solid metal door. Hot or cold will not transfer through the mdf core. Hinge pockets and lockset are reinforced with hardwood blocking.
